12 Degrees & Skiving

what began as year-long challenge has become perpetual until further notice

we will come full circle
when I learn to play chess
before you place me among
kings and queens

We will come full circle
when our hearts, patched
with the silk of experience
league together from the ultimate tear

we will come full circle
when we fill our eyes
with far future places
so that we can be held
in one another’s hearts without
leaking, egg white
through the cracks

we will come full circle
when the two stones that broke the arami
fall several metres deeper
and the waters reach both our chins
and we can touch without burning

Tell me wotcha reckon
